Subject	How do you set your timing?

Message	Ive never been able to get a signal on the ptu loop or on the pickup on the coil itself. Ive always just used a spark plug wire between the plug and coil. Reason im asking is i have to run 30 degrees of timing to get any power, its a dog at 15 degrees. In a previous post i was told to check timing and i did. All marks were dead on including the crank. Is the plug wire method sending false readings?
